It is Holodomor Awareness Week, when we commemorate the millions of Ukrainian lives lost in the famine-genocide of 1932-33. We were honoured to speak to Mike Ciona of CTV Morning Live – Saskatoon yesterday morning, along with representatives of the University of Saskatchewan Ukrainian Students’ Association – USUSA about the commemoration happening on this, the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor at St. Thomas More College – University of Saskatchewan.
