PCUH’s Petro Jacyk Postdoctoral Fellow, Oksana Dudko, discussed the current international crises centred around Ukraine on Global News. Since November 2021, the Russian government has surrounded Ukraine with an unprecedented number of troops, which has provoked a major international security crisis and fuelled anxieties about a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. Dr. Dudko shares her thoughts about possible actions that the Russian government may take amid the growing tension. She also emphasizes the importance of international solidarity with Ukraine and cooperation in developing new strategies against Russian hybrid warfare that combines proxy war, information warfare, cyberwars, and the weaponization of natural resources.
