As the University of Saskatchewan (USask) prepares for a new term in January, professors from a wide variety of academic disciplines have focused on developing teaching methodologies that will help students succeed in an online environment. Dr. Nadya Foty-Oneschuk, a PCUH Affiliate and professor in the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology was interviewed in the USask’s Arts and Science Magazine, explaining the challenges involved in transitioning to online teaching while also identifying the exciting opportunities associated with teaching remotely. Prof. Foty-Oneschuk will teach for the first-time the anthropology course “Ethnicity in Action: The Ukrainian-Canadian Experience.”
